Our FirmFirm

Welcome!  Mayes Dispute Resolution Inc. was established by Stanley Mayes out of a desire to give clients an opportunity to resolve conflicts in a cost-effective and timely manner.  He has been a busy lawyer for 40 years and has a breadth of experience and knowledge that benefits clients who seek Mediation or Arbitration.

Mediation is a tried and true process of resolving disputes.  Instead of spending years of precious time and excessive amounts of money to have the court system determine a solution to your dispute, mediation uses the assistance of an impartial mediator to help you identify your goals rather than reiterate entrenched positions.  The mediator helps you work towards reaching a win/win answer to what seems to be an impossible situation.  You discover the options that help you resolve your dispute.

By using a trained mediator with extensive legal experience, you are guided to solutions that are practical and satisfactory.

Attention, inquiry, empathy, wisdom, reason, and patience are used to defuse the emotions that often stand in the way of workable solutions.  The resolution awaits your commitment to take the easier route.

Our Areas of Focus

01.

Family

Mediation

Too often, both parties in a crumbling relationship stake out their contradictory positions and refuse to budge.  Let us help guide you to a solution.

02.

Estate

Mediation

Mediation can be particularly effective in resolving issues that arise following the death or incapacitation of a relative.

03.

Employment & Business Mediation

Mediation effectively resolves problems in the workplace. Despite trying to solve internally, a skillful 3rd party is often helpful in bringing a quick resolution.

04.

Christian

Mediation

You may feel that conflicts between believers should not be resolved by the court system or by outside parties who neither understand nor agree with your beliefs. We can come alongside both and find a path forward.

05.

Arbitration

Sometimes two parties recognize that they will be unable to come to an agreement themselves, even with a mediator.  In this instance, there are 2 options: litigate or seek an arbitrator.
